NYSCRF approves $400m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two infrastructure vehicles.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has agreed to commit $300 million to Avenue Sustainable Solutions Fund and $100 million to Brookfield Infrastructure Fund IV Co-Invest, according to the pension’s February 2020 investment report.

The $215.54 billion US public pension has a 1.90 percent allocation to infrastructure.

As illustrated below, NYSCRF has made five commitments to infrastructure funds with a 2019 or 2020 vintage, which combined constitute $1.55 billion.
