New York State Common Retirement Fund has agreed to commit $250 million each to Stonepeak Global Renewables Fund and Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund IV, according to pension’s June 2020 meeting minutes.
The fourth Stonepeak flagship fund is a North American-focused fund, primarily investing in renewable and gas-fired power generation, utilities, midstream energy, communications, water and transportation. Simultaneously, the global renewables fund is a OECD-focused fund, primarily investing in wind and solar power generation.
