New York State Common Retirement Fund has approved a €250 million commitment to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners IV, according to its latest February 2021 monthly transaction report.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners is currently in market with its fourth infrastructure fund, which is seeking €5.5 billion in LP capital.

As of September 2020, the vehicle had raised €4 billion in commitments despite only launching five months prior. The fund’s immediate predecessor held a final close in March 2018 at its €3.5 billion hard-cap.

NYSCRF has a 3.0 percent target allocation to infrastructure that currently stands at 1.6 percent.

As illustrated below, the $247.7 billion US pension fund’s recent infrastructure commitments have tended to target global unlisted equity vehicles.
