Happy birthday to us!

Infrastructure Investor’s 10th anniversary issue – packed with trends and market-leading thought leadership – is now online. Find out how to make the most of it.

In the grand scheme of things, 10 years is not a huge amount of time. In the context of human evolution, in fact, it doesn’t even register on the radar. But go down to the micro level – say, the span of a human life – and a decade packs an incredible amount of change.

Infrastructure pioneers will be well aware of that. We’ve been covering the asset class from the very start and it’s been an incredible ride. To mark our 10th year, we’ve released a special anniversary issue – a weighty 178-page labour of love aptly titled The Decade – which is making its way on to subscribers’ desks right now.

This week, we’ve published it online. And although we will be featuring many of its articles in our daily digests over the coming month or so, we thought we’d give you some help in navigating what’s online:

  • Decade homepage Your main navigational hub features our overview of the asset class’s evolution over the past 10 years. It also includes highlights from our market-leading Berlin Global Summit, who won the most trophies at our annual global awards, and a look at where some of our market-leading reporters are now.
  • Decade: the past This includes a look at 10 of our biggest stories of the past decade, plus reflections from industry thought leaders such as Herbert Smith Freehills, FIRSTavenue, Campbell Lutyens and DIF Capital Partners on the changes in infrastructure investment over the last 10 years.
  • Decade: the present This section features our first-ever Global Investor 30 ranking, as well as articles from Meridiam, InfraVia Capital Partners, Threadmark and others on the current state of the market.
  • Decade: the future As the name indicates, this final section includes 10 predictions on trends and sectors that are likely to play a prominent role in the asset class’s future, as well as thought leadership from Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, AMP Capital and InstarAGF Asset Management.

So settle into a comfortable armchair with your viewing device of choice and a strong cup of coffee and dig in.

But before you do, we’d like to offer a sincere thank you to all our readers in helping Infrastructure Investor become what it is today. Our magazine and website provide unrivalled insight and analysis on the asset class and our Global Summit has blossomed to become the world’s premier gathering for industry professionals.

Here’s hoping the next decade is every bit as successful as the last.
