2014 banking awards: Submissions required!

Our second annual banking awards will recognise innovation in the provision of debt financing to infrastructure deals and projects.

Infrastructure Investor is now seeking entries to its annual banking awards for 2014. Submissions may be made HERE in 17 categories covering various different geographies, sectors and types of financing.

Last year, we launched our inaugural awards and were delighted to receive a multitude of submissions resulting in awards in ten categories. Winning entries came from the likes of BBVA, ING and Natixis to name just a few.

What particularly impressed us last year was the quality of submissions, which enabled us to be confident that we were achieving our mission of identifying financing excellence.

A few examples: we had the first projects to be completed using credit enhancement initiatives; we saw innovative arrangements involving banks and institutional investors that delivered public-private partnership (PPP) deals; and we were alerted to creative project financings being applied in new areas, such as North American pipelines.

We are sure that 2014 produced further evidence of infrastructure financiers’ ability to make deals happen in ways that are sometimes far from obvious – and we look forward with great anticipation to seeing what the submission process brings us.

You have until March 16 2015 to send your completed forms to us. Why not set aside some time now, and put yourselves in contention?
