Access Capital Partners raises €170m

The European private assets specialist has held an initial close of its sophomore infrastructure fund.

Access Capital Partners has held the first closing of Access Capital Fund Infrastructure II at €170 million. The fund of funds vehicle has a target size of €300 million and will invest in European operational and cash yielding infrastructure assets. Primary fund commitments and secondary transactions account for 80 percent of the fund size, and the remainder will be in direct co-investments.

New and existing investors contributed to the first round of fundraising.

The firm’s first infrastructure fund, Access Capital Infrastructure Fund, held a final close at €371 million in July 2018, surpassing its target of €250 million.
