ATP commits to CIP New Markets Fund I

The Danish public pension has backed Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' newest fund.

ATP has approved a commitment to Copenhagen Infrastructure New Markets Fund I, according to PensionDanmark.

ATP’s is investing alongside PensionDanmarkKLP Insurance Pension Fund and Laegernes Pension. The four investors have jointly committed $700 million (Dkr4.7 billion) to CIP’s fund.

ATP has a current allocation of 12.78 percent to infrastructure.

As illustrated in the charts below, this is ATP’s first commitment to an infrastructure fund since the pension committed to DWS’ Pan-European Infrastructure Fund II in 2015.
