As it looks to the Japanese warehouse sector, global real estate firm LaSalle Investment Management announced the opening of its first commercial-and-warehouse complex in Japan.

Following the success of its first private equity real estate fund, Malaysian bank CIMB Group and Singapore’s Mapletree Investments are looking to raise a second fund to invest in the region.

Private equity firm The Blackstone Group has appointed real estate veteran Michael Casey to its fundraising and LP relations team.
