Aviva Investors appoints infrastructure fund manager(3)

Ian Berry has been appointed fund manager for infrastructure and renewable energy. He will be fund manager of the €500 million Aviva Investors European Renewable Energy Fund and will also be involved in the management of Aviva Investors’ existing infrastructure and PPP/ PFI investments.

Fund manager Aviva Investors has appointed Ian Berry as fund manager in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.

Berry will oversee the development of the firm’s infrastructure capability and will also be fund manager of the €500 million Aviva Investors European Renewable Energy Fund, launched in November last year. He will be involved in the management of Aviva Investors’ existing infrastructure and PPP/ PFI investments as well.

Berry was previously an investment director at BlueCrest Capital Management where he was responsible for identifying investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector. He has also held positions at Ambac Assurance UK and Deutsche Bank.

He will be based in London.
