Robertson was previously chief executive of the UK Highways Agency, procuring authority of the £6.2 billion (€7 billion; $10 billion) M25 PFI which reached financial close after securing £925 million of bank debt last month. He was also involved in Capita Symonds’ recent unsuccessful bid for the Crossrail project delivery partner contract.
Capita Symonds said Robertson is now set to develop the firm’s programme management business on large scale infrastructure projects worldwide.
