DC Placement launches cloud-based fundraising tool

The European placement agent has partnered with fintech company Advinda.

DC Placement Advisors, a European placement agent, has launched an investor and fundraising management tool that allows managers to create databases of institutional LPs, accessed through its cloud software.

The Munich-based firm has partnered with fintech company Advinda to create the platform, which allows general partners to track fundraising progress and investor intelligence by geography, investor-type and assets under management, according to a statement.

The platform aims to reduce the “laborious and inefficient” processes of alternative investment fundraising, Eva March, Advinda’s chief executive said.

The Advinda Investor Cloud offers users DCPLA’s LP contact base, with access to over 3,000 institutional investor profiles.

GPs subscribe to their preferred LP contacts and can communicate with them on the platform.

DCPLA has worked on AMP Capital’s $2.4 billion infrastructure funding platform, which held a final close in December above its $2 billion target.

The firm also helped place AMP Capital Infrastructure Debt Fund II, which closed on $1.1 billion in 2014, surpassing its $1 billion target.

Advinda was founded in 2016 by March, DCPLA’s managing director of institutional sales, and Nina Dohr-Pawlowitz, DCPLA’s chief executive.
