ERS approves $30m commitment

Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has agreed to commit $30 million to an infrastructure co-investment vehicle, a contact at the pension informed Infrastructure Investor. The name of the vehicle was not disclosed.

The $28.30 billion US public pension has a 7.0 percent target allocation to private infrastructure that currently stands at 2.39 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, ERS has made two commitments to infrastructure funds with a 2018 vintage, which combined constitute $193.30 million.
