Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Investment Group has raised $2 billion to date for its West Street European Infrastructure Partners III, per a SEC filing. The New York-headquartered firm has set an undisclosed target and began fundraising in 2016. The SEC filing did not disclose whether the capital raise constituted a final or interim close.
Its previous fund raised $3.1 billion in 2010.
The fund will target unlisted equity opportunities in energy and transport sectors in Europe.
