Green Investment Bank gets £3bn in UK Budget

Chancellor George Osborne has pledged an additional £2bn from asset sales to add to the £1bn the Green Investment Bank will receive from government. However, the bank, which is set to open in 2012, will not be able to borrow money until 2015 at the earliest.
