IFC approves $25m commitment

The World Bank Group's member organisation has backed an Africa-focused fund.

International Finance Corporation has committed $25 million to Convergence Partners Digital Infrastructure Fund. The fund will invest in the ICT infrastructure with a geographical focus on Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Botswana.
