InfrastructureInvestor surpasses 1000 readers

Following its October launch, the online news service recently celebrated the registration of its 1000th user – an Australian private equity professional - by awarding a free pass to the upcoming Infrastructure Investor: Berlin conference.

InfrastructureInvestor has surpassed its 1000th registered user, having launched in October as a news service for the burgeoning infrastructure asset class.

The 1000th registered user is Eugene Gong, a professional at Sydney-based Allco Equity Partners, a private equity firm.

To celebrate the milestone in growth, Gong has been awarded a free pass to the upcoming InfrastructureInvestor: Berlin 2009 conference.

InfrastructureInvestor is free upon registration. Through daily web postings and an emailed weekly news digest, it covers the global market for private investment in infrastructure. The service is provided by PEI Media, which also provides news, data and events to the private equity and real estate asset classes.

Cezary Podkul, editor of InfrastructureInvestor, said, “We are pleased to note the growth of our news service and thrilled to invite Mr. Gong to join our groundbreaking Berlin event. He is now among more than 1,000 highly seasoned and experienced readers of a news site that will continue to deliver actionable intelligence on the people, funds, deals and trends that are moving this asset class onto the centre stage of the global financial market.”
