Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has allocated a commitment of $125 million to KKR‘s latest open-ended Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund, a contact at the pension fund informed Infrastructure Investor.
The fund manager had recently closed its $3.9 billion Asia-Pacific focused infrastructure fund. As reported by Infrastructure Investor, KKR’s core fund has already secured its first European deal.
The US public pension currently has a target allocation of 8 percent for real assets, which currently stands at 3.4 percent. At present, Ohio Police & Fire’s infrastructure commitments are made out of its real assets portfolio.
