Segulah recruits Swedish partner

Nordic Buyout Firm Segulah has hired a partner who specialises in deal generation and management.

Nordic buyout firm Segulah has recruited a Swedish partner.

Percy Calissendorf will join Segulah on September 3 2007.

Calissendorf is Swedish and he has been a partner at UK-based infrastructure specialist Star Capital for the last five years. He specialises in deal generation and management in the Nordic mid-market.   Calissendorf worked for MVI and Hambros Bank before moving to Star Capital.

Christian Sievert, managing partner at Segulah, said his company is expanding its team at the moment and Calissendorf is an experienced investor in the region.

Segulah makes lower mid market buyouts in the Nordic region managing companies of between €40 million ($54.3 million) and €400 million in revenue. It has portfolio companies including marine engineering company Callenberg, healthcare firm, Previa and automation integration equipment firm, HMS.
