SFMI puts the infrastructure focus overseas

The Korean insurance firm eyes $150-$200 million overseas infrastructure opportunities.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (SFMI) expressed that it is interested in opportunities through public-private partnership, power purchase agreement (PPA)-contracted projects and private placements in North America, Western Europe, Japan and Australia.

It looks forward to $150 million to $200 million infrastructure investment overseas and prefers project-based investments and separately-managed account funds to pure blind-pool funds.
