Stockholm
In the past two years, MIRA has increased its exposure and presence by establishing a team on the ground after investing in the region for more than 15 years.
Commitments from two Swedish investors have brought the fund’s value to just under €300m, with an additional €90m from the EIB expected imminently.
Frankfurt
Swiss Life Asset Managers’ Frank Heiss will be based in Frankfurt and will be responsible for deal origination in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordics.
Sustainability, green energy, environment
The objective is to build eNordic into a €3bn holding with a generation capacity of 1.6GW over the next five years.
CIP Robert Helms
Robert Helms will be responsible for the Danish firm’s New Markets fund, which reached a $700m first close earlier this year.
New company has already deployed €90m, acquiring three operational wind farms with a combined capacity of 63MW.
Frankfurt-based asset manager has already secured three seed investments in Norway and Sweden totalling more than 600MW of capacity.
Wind power
Similar in strategy to US platform Sky Renewables, the €300m investment aims to build a portfolio focused on wind, solar, hydro and biomass.
The Swedish manager is at the early stages of planning the fund, which could raise up to €1bn.
