YIELCO adds partner number four

The Munich-based alternative assets advisory firm, which provides access for investors to infrastructure and other asset classes, has bolstered its ranks with the appointment of Armin Otterbach.

YIELCO Investments, the Munich-based firm which advises investors on allocations to infrastructure, mezzanine and private equity, has appointed Armin Otterbach as its fourth partner.

Otterbach was formerly chief financial officer (CFO) at Braun & Schreiber, a private equity fund of funds manager also based in Munich. He resumes the CFO role at YIELCO, with responsibility for fund accounting, reporting and investor relations.

YIELCO was founded last year and, in a statement, says it offers institutional investors “access to infrastructure investments that generate predictable returns and provide for positive portfolio diversification effects”.

Matthias Unser, a founding partner of YIELCO, said that the addition of Otterbach meant that YIELCO was “well prepared to meet the increasing information challenges of investors and regulators”.

Unser, who worked for various European fund of funds, including DB Private Equity, founded YIELCO alongside Uwe Fleischhauer and Andre Hesselmann in August 2011.
