Your vote could make the difference!

Our inaugural Infrastructure Investor annual awards for 2009 are off to a flying start, and it is clear that in many crucial categories the eventual place on the winner’s rostrum is too close to call.

A couple of examples: in the race to be crowned global infrastructure fund manager of 2009, GIP and Meridiam are neck-and-neck, with Brookfield and Macquarie hot on their heels and others still in the race; in the global infrastructure law firm contest, the margin between leading contenders including SJ Berwin, Clifford Chance and Allen and Overy is wafer thin.

What this means is that your vote could be crucial in many of the final outcomes. And the good news is that you still have until Friday 22 January 2010 to make that difference. In fact, why not register your opinion right now? You can do so by voting here. Although we have more than 40 categories in total, we estimate that it will take you only around 10 minutes to complete the entire poll – and you are free to vote in as many (or as few) categories as you wish.

Don’t let the deserving winners lose out! 2009 was a tough year for the market as a whole. Let’s give those who fought the headwinds with most vigour the recognition they have earned.
