Paul Hanrahan has been appointed chief executive of American Capital Infrastructure, the asset manager's new energy infrastructure fund. The fund has already collected $200m in seed capital from American Capital.

The European Union-focused infrastructure fund has acquired a stake in two Polish wind farms, totalling 104MW, from developer RP Global.
