This is it, the moment you’ve been eagerly waiting for the entire year… no, not Christmas – that’s overrated. We’re talking about the latest edition of the Infrastructure Investor Global Awards.
This year, we’ve got 50 categories for you to vote on – split, as usual, by region.
Voting has now officially opened so don’t miss the opportunity to cast your vote here. You have until 7 January to do so.
For those not familiar with our Awards, a few ground rules. The Awards are focused on the last 12 months and are very much aimed at celebrating your achievements in 2017.
For certain categories – such as Deal or Fundraising of the Year – we are overwhelmingly celebrating those transactions or fundraisings that reached financial close during 2017, so if you’re disappointed your deal isn’t featured, it may very well be because it was announced in 2017 but has yet to close. For other categories – such as our Investor or Fund Manager of the Year – we take a broader view that looks at fundraisings closed and under way, as well as deals clinched or lined up.
We select, you vote
The Global Awards are very much driven by you, the industry. Sure, our shortlists are selected by our editorial team, partly based on our coverage of the market throughout the year and partly based on the many submissions we received from you over the past month, for which we are very grateful. But after that, you decide the winners.
When it comes to voting, you are not allowed to vote for yourself, but you are very much encouraged to mobilise your client base and have them vote for you. Your client base, however, does not include your family members and we will screen the voting results for any potential irregularities.
Finally, after the polls close on 7 January, you will have to wait until early March, when we publish our Annual Review supplement, to find out who won. If you’re not familiar with our Annual Review or just want to check who 2016’s victors were, please click here.
And that’s it. It’s been a phenomenal year for the industry filled with many success stories worth celebrating. It’s time to make your vote count!
