We are delighted to reveal PEI Media’s inaugural list of 60 standout women working across the alternative asset classes globally, in investment and fund management firms, law firms and third-party advisory firms. They are influencers, game-changers, innovators, pioneers and leaders. Some have smashed through the glass ceiling by founding their own firms.

Some have led big deals or record-breaking fundraises. Others are driving the ESG agenda, transforming operations or championing diversity, equity and inclusion in their firms and across the wider industry. And all are examples to the next generation of young women embarking on careers in the private markets that this is a sector where they can thrive professionally.
The response to the call for nominations was mightily impressive. Readers voted in big numbers – more than 680 submissions were received. We then had the difficult task of sifting through the information and whittling that number down to just 60 women – 10 each from private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate and venture capital, as well as 10 working across multiple asset classes. The calibre of all the names put forward was exceptionally high and we offer our congratulations to those who made the final list.
